Introduction

The seminar "Learn and Understand Javascript & AngularJS" is organized by the specialized high-tech company Digital Academy created by the Group of Speakers of the Multimedia Technology Laboratory of NTUA. It is an intensive seminar carried out exclusively by the Distance Learning method, allowing the learner to follow a high-level scientific training program from his home or office or from the place of his choice and the time of his choice, via the Internet.

The program has been designed in such a way by the laboratory, so that it combines high-level theoretical knowledge but also ways of designing and implementing web applications using the quite popular and powerful javascript, which is platform & browser independent, in combination with the revolutionary javascript framework by google, AngularJS.

The seminar consists of 13 modules that are completed over a period of 4 weeks and corresponds to 140-160 hours of lessons.

Methodology

According to our educational program, the material is divided into 13 educational units. The program is the latest version of the free software (open source) Moodle, which is based on the PhP programming platform. The online courses are hosted on proprietary servers integrating cutting-edge technologies such as: Processor 2 x Intel Pentium XEON hyperthreading, Memory 32 GB DDR RAM, Hard Disks IBM SCSI U320 HDDs @ 15000 rpm central EsyWEt with Internet Raptors interface. (National Research and Technology Network) and is of the order of 1 Gbps (EDET has a 2X622 Mbps connection to the INTERNET - Pan-European Research Internet GEANT).

After the seminar

After the seminar, the trainee will acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to:

• To know javascript programming language and JS Framework AngularJS
• To develop critical thinking and initiative in simple planning and problem solving following simple programming methods.
• It is able to implement simple applications using Javascript, and more complex ones with AngularJS.

Purpose of the seminar

The purpose of the educational program is to provide the necessary resources and scientific qualifications to all those interested with little previous knowledge in programming, through a windows-based environment.

The tutorial is intended for people who have no prior experience in web programming using javascript or have very little experience and would like to go deeper and improve.
